Field Diary Award 2025
We start in style by announcing that Frutas Poveda has been protagonist of the Diario de Campo 2025 Awards, receiving a recognition that rewards our commitment to the best agricultural practices, sustainability and quality of our products.

Training on gender violence
We continue to promote the well-being of the team, promoting training actions on such necessary topics as gender violence, with courses and workshops for employees and collaborators.
This type of initiative is part of our commitment to our commitment to people, CSR being one of our main values and the one we are most proud of.
New seedless lemon plantations
In 2025, we continue to focus on seedlesslemons seedless lemon, with a new plantation of 30 hectares in our Maribel farm in Librilla.
In addition, we have done it with an innovative way of cultivation, in which we have implanted anti-weed netting to save water, avoid the use of chemical herbicides, minimize mechanical soil tillage, reduce costs and protect the environment.
Transformation of our Corvera farm
We have started a transformation process in our Corvera farm to adapt more hectares to the cultivation of seedless lemons, progressively replacing trees of the Verna variety for seedless lemon trees.
This change responds to market demand and the continuous improvement of our production systems.
New line of work in our warehouse
We continue to innovate in our facilities, this time we have incorporated new working lines in one of our lemon processing centers, including two Sienz graders with artificial intelligence, graneliers, bin dumpers, optimized washing machines and much more.
These investments allow us to increase the quality of the final product, improve improve traceability and become more efficient while reducing waste and operating times.
Visit to suppliers in South Africa
Prior to the start of the summer fruit harvest, we traveled to South Africa to visit some of our fruit suppliers.
In this way we are able to strengthen our commercial relationships, plan future campaigns together and, above all, align quality criteria.
Participation in international fairs
As it could not be otherwise, this year we participated once again in the most important agricultural trade fairs in the world: the Fruit Logistica in Berlin and Fruit Attraction in Madrid.
At these events we take the opportunity to present our latest innovations, discover new trends in the sector and open up new business opportunities. They are undoubtedly a must for us year after year.
Commitment to ethical trade
For many years we have participated in and are partners of the Ethical Trade Forums. We attend their annual international meeting to promote respect for labor rights, sustainable development in producing countries and to share ideas and best practices for the agri-food sector.
AILIMPO’s AGEFIS Project
We have also continued to participate in the AGEFIS Project, promoted by AILIMPO, which consists of monitoring and counting pests in lemon and grapefruit in different areas of the Region of Murcia.
We contribute by providing data from 3 of our farms to improve crop health and improve decision making in the agricultural sector.
Christmas tradition with the team
As we do every year, we carry out this Christmas tradition in the office where on Christmas Day we invite all employees to a breakfast of chocolate with churros.
A small gesture that symbolizes our gratitude for the efforts of the entire team and helps us to reinforce the bonds of strengthen the bonds of camaraderie within the company.
Sports sponsorship
Sport is health and a great way to promote values that are aligned with our own, such as teamwork and self-improvement.
That is why, once again, we have decided to support sports by sponsoring the women’s soccer team PR7, the cycling team Bicihuerta and the Tiñosa soccer team.
